About Us
Zingoming is a platform which provides you to play in the real stock market environment with fake money.
Our mission is to educate a layman about the stock market so that he can earn money through the market and contribute towards the growth of Indian Economy.
With zingoming you play with fake money in real stock market and get the experience of real online trading. In process you will automatically become expert of online trading.
There are many myths which keep away the layman from the stock market, our attempt is to break those myths and make a layman an expert trader.
Rules & Regulations
1. You will be given 5 lacs (fake money) to invest in the market.
2. Brokerage charged will be 5paise per 100Rs. Or .05% for intraday trading.
3. If you hold the script for more than 1 day, brokerage will be 50paise per 100Rs. Or .5%.
4. Short positions will be automatically squared off 5 minutes after the market closes.
5. You can reset your portfolio at any time. Once you reset your account, all your transaction and profile details are gone and you are considered as a new contestant. Your participation will not be considered for that day and that week in which you reset your portfolio.
6. All prices are real and same as NSE.
7. You will be given a rank, which will denote your relative position in the game.
8. You can invest your money in any number of shares.
9. Playing Cycle starts with 1st day of every month and closes at the end of that month.
Monthly Winners will be declared by every 2nd day of the month.
Weekly winners will be declared by every Monday
Daily winners will be declared by the next trading day.
10. Zingoming reserves all the rights to disqualify any player during any time of the game.
11. Only Nifty shares are present in the Watchlist of Zingoming BETA version.
Instructions
1. To Buy any share
Go to Watchlist, select a particular share, and then click on TRADE. A box would appear asking for Action, Select BUY and then put the quantity in numbers. Now press EXECUTE to place your Order.
For your Order to get executed at Market price select MARKET from the Trade Box. (This is the default behaviour in BETA version)
For your Order to get executed at any particular price select MY PRICE INR Price from the Trade Box. (Feature not present in BETA version)
2. To Sell any share
Go to PROFILE DETAILS, select a particular share, and then click on TRADE. A box would appear asking for Action. Select SELL and then put the quantity in numbers. Now click on EXECUTE for execution to place your Order.
For your Order to get executed at Market price select MARKET from the Trade Box. (This is the default behaviour in BETA version)
For your Order to get executed at any particular price select MY PRICE INR Price from the Trade Box. When market price matches to your price your order will be executed automatically. (Feature not present in BETA version))
IF you want to put a stop loss at a particular price you can select STOPLOSS from the box.when market price come to the price of stop loss the order would automatically be executed. (Feature not present in BETA version)
ZINGOMING OFFERS YOU TO SELL YOUR SHARES ACCORDING TO THEIR PURCHASING PRICES.
In PROFILE DETAILS you will find the number of shares you carry throughout the month at different buying prices in different rows.
You may have bought a particular share throughout the day/month at different prices, from here you can sell your shares according to your Profit/Loss.
Example: Suppose you bought 50 ICICI Bank’s shares @1300 in the morning
&
Before selling that you bought 1000 ICICI Bank’s Shares @1500 at Noon
Now you have 100 ICICI @1500
&
500 ICICI @1300
Suppose at evening the Market Price for ICICI is 1400
Now you may wish to sell your 500 ICICI shares @1300 and hold 100 ICICI shares @1500. This option provides you to do these kind of transactions
3. To short sell any share
From the watchlist, select any particular share and click on TRADE. A box would appear asking for Action. Select SELL and then put the quantity in numbers. Now click on EXECUTE to place your Order.

4. To cover the short sell (Short Cover)
Go to Profile details, you will find the share you have short sold, select the share and click on TRADE, a box would appear asking for action. Put the quantity you want to cover and click on EXECUTE.
If you don’t cover the shares you short sold during the market timings, Zingo automatically covers it just 5 minutes after the market closes.
5. Watchlist
In watchlist, all the prices are live, i.e. they keep on changing according to NSE. YOU NEED NOT REFRESH TO GET CURRENT MARKET PRICE.
6. Transaction History
Once you place your order, you can see its status at TRANSACTION HISTORY.
As Market Transactions are based on Demand/Supply of Buyers/Sellers, your transaction may get executed at different denominations and different prices according to the demand/supply mechanism.
Your Transaction may show status FAILURE, if the price doesn’t match the market OR you have insufficient funds to carry out the transaction.
EG: The Market price of ICICI is Rs.1500 and you given a BUY order at Rs.1450, Obviously No seller would like to sell his/her shares @1450 if he can get Rs. 1500 for the same.
7. Brokerage
- For Intraday Trades, Zingoming charges .05% both side (buying .05% and selling .05%)
- For Delivery Basis, Zingoming Charges .50% both side(buying .5% and selling .5%)
8. Brokerage Reserve
Once you buy a share and sell it at the same trading day the brokerage charged is .05% but when you don’t sell it at the same trading day, Zingoming charges additional brokerage (.50%- .05%= .45% ) as the Transaction becomes Delivery Basis. That is why Zingoming reserves 0.45% of your investment once you buy a share.
9. Profile Details
In Profile Details, you can see all the positions you have taken at that point of time, i.e. how many shares you are having and on what prices and what are your short selling postions with price. You can sell/square your positions from here.
10. Switching Between Market Live & Market Replay
To switch between your Live and Replay accounts, you will find two big buttons in the left panel. These two buttons can be accessed from all the related pages: Profile, Profile Details, Transaction History and Watchlist.
